There are more ways to help than you'd think.
Not everyone can foster, and not everyone has a fenced yard — but almost everyone has something this rescue can use. A free Saturday, a pickup truck, an hour of admin, a head for fundraising. Here's where you fit in.
Fostering is still the biggest need
If one thing decides how many dogs we can save, it's foster homes. Every open couch is another shepherd out of a shelter run and into a real home while they wait. If you have the space and the time, fostering is where you'll make the most difference — and we cover every cost along the way.
Other ways to pitch in
Transport
Dogs need rides — out of shelters, to vet appointments, to foster homes and meet-and-greets around the region. If you don't mind a road trip with a shepherd in the back seat, we can keep you busy.
Events & tabling
We show up at adoption events, markets, and community days. Help us set up the table, talk to people about the dogs, and send folks home knowing who we are.
Admin & behind the scenes
Applications to read, emails to answer, spreadsheets to keep honest, posts to write. It's quiet work, and it's the work that keeps everything else moving.
Fundraising
Grant writing, donation drives, employer matching, the occasional bright idea for a fundraiser. Bring in support and you help us say yes to more dogs.
Don't see your thing on the list? Tell us anyway. Photographers, trainers, web folks, people who just want to walk dogs — we've found a place for all of them. If you can spare time or a skill, there's almost certainly a way to use it.
